Color and pattern male
Head: warm golden-yellow.
Neck-hackle: bright warm golden-yellow.
Shoulders, back and saddle: warm golden-yellow.
Tail: steering-flights white; sickles and coverts white with a narrow, sharply defined warm golden-yellow lacing.
Wings: bright warm golden-yellow on the surface of the plumage; wing-bar feathers have a faint white, more or less transverse penciled inner vane.
Primary-flights: outer-vane warm golden-yellow without any penciling, inne- vane white.
Secondary-flights: outer-vane warm golden-yellow, inner-vane warm golden-yellow with some white penciling.
Breast, front of neck, belly and thighs: warm golden-yellow; the body-feathers show some white transerve penciling.
Rear-part: cream to flour-white with golden-yellow tinge.
Down: cream to flour-white.
Serious faults
Very uneven ground-color. Too light ground-color. Too dark or too light in the shoulders and neck- and saddle-hackle. Many bright bluish splashes in the white feather parts. Too broad or very irregular lacing of the sickles or tail-coverts. Absence of the sickle lacing.
Faults
The above serious faults are present to a lesser extent. Color of the penciling other than cream to flour-white.
Color and pattern female
Head: warm golden-yellow.
Neck-hackle: warm-golden yellow.
Shoulders and back: warm golden-yellow, each feather with greenish-white transverse penciling.
Tail: steering-feathers golden-yellow with strong transverse penciling, most prominent in the top two.
Upper breast and front of neck: warm golden-yellow without any transverse penciled.
Wings: coverts and wing-bar bright golden-yellow with transverse penciling.
Primary-flights: outer-vane warm golden-yellow with some white penciling at the tip; inner-vane white with some golden-yellow lacing along the outer edge of the vane.
Secondary-flights: golden-yellow with transverse penciling that turns into more or less longitudinal stripes on the inner-vane.
Lower chest, belly and thighs: warm golden-yellow with some transverse penciling that become stronger towards the lower back.
Down: cream to flour white.
Serious faults
Far too light or far too dark ground-color or uneven ground-color. Coarse or very irregular transverse penciling. Insufficient depth and sharpness of the transverse penciling. Transverse penciling rising too high on the chest.
Faults
The above serious faults are present to a lesser extent. Golden-yellow ground color in the transverse penciling. Color of the penciling other than cream to flour-white. Clearly visible transverse pencilling on the neck-hackle.
