Color and pattern male

Plumage: similar to goldpartridge but a slightly deeper gold color and the neck- and saddle-hackle mahogany-reddish brown without middle-striping; each feather should end as much as possible in a white tip; the more white tips and the more evenly distributed they are, the better, but the white tips should be small so that the partridge-color complete dominates and the bird does not appear too heavily white mottled.

Plumage: similar to goldpartidge however the partridge brown is very dark due to the very strong black peppering, so that the black intensification near the white tip, results in a barely noticeable narrow blackish band; the tips should be as numerous and as evenly distributed as possible throughout the plumage, but so small that the partridge brown is complete dominant and the bird does not appear too heavily white mottled.

Complete white feathers in tail and wings. Too large white tips. Very irregular pattern.

Much white in tail and wing-flights. Slightly too large white tips and slightly irregular pattern. Too light neck-hackle and a incomplete colored wing-bay on the male.
