Color and pattern male and female

White must predominate over black.

Best color pattern is achieved if there are many entirely white feathers present and almost no entirely black feathers, and most certainly not in  tail and wings.

Approximately three-fifths of it still has some black, yet it is visible on the feather surface in barely half. In this pattern, there is no spangle at the feather tip. Mottled pattern is irregular and asymmetrical with respect to the feather-shaft, but should nevertheless produce as uniform a pattern as possible over the entire body.

Serious faults

Predominantly black. Red or yellow feathers in any part of the plumage.

Faults

Irregular pattern resulting from the black color predominating in one or more feather groups or the presence of large, white feather-patches without any pattern.
