Gold black-crescent-spangled

Color and pattern male

Head: golden brown.

Beard and crest: black crescent-spangles.

Neck-hackle: golden brown, the feather tips with a glossy green black elongated V-shaped crescent-spangle.

Back and saddle-hackle: feathers with a black elongated V-shaped crescent-spangle at the feather tips.

Tail: steering feathers entirely black or black with golden brown at the base; sickles are golden brown with a strong crescent-spangle at the tip, transitioning into a narrow lacing along the feather (black sickles are permitted).

Wings: shoulders golden brown, each feather having a glossy green black, more or less V-shaped crescent-spangle; wing-bar feathers golden brown with a glossy, crescent-shaped spangle, creating one or more distinct green-black bands running across the wings; wing-triangle golden brown with greenish-black  at the wingtips.

Primary- and secondary-flights: golden brown with greenish-black, crescent-spangle at the feathertips. Some transition from the crescent-spangle to lacing is permitted.

Front of neck, breast, belly, body and thigh: golden brown with glossy black, crescent-spangles at the feathertips; the pattern on the body and thighs are somewhat bolder, so that the black is dominant there.

Rear-part: almost entirely black with some brown tinge.

Down: dark gray.

Serious faults
