Color and pattern male and female

Plumage: lemon-yellow ground-color, each feather with a narrow glossy black lacing, evenly spaced, running complete around the feather and visible at the front and back of the feather.

Down: blue-gray.

Serious faults

Too dark, too light, or irregular ground-color. Light shafts. Broad or insufficient deep-black lacing. Double lacing Horseshoe-shaped lacing. Insufficient lacing on the breast and front of the neck. Unlaced throat. Black peppering on the tail.
