Head: creamy-yellow

Beard; black

Hackles: creamy-yellow, covering the brownish-red hue of the inner portion; with or without a rusty-red patch on either side of the neck-hackle.

Back, shoulders and wing-bows: bright cherry-mahogany, copper-colored laced, lighter in older male's.

Tail: main-feathers and sickles black; upper-coverts partial reddish-brown.

Wing-bar: black, moderate glossy greenish or bluish.

Primary-flights: black with a narrow white lace on the outer-web.

Secondary-flights: inner-web black, outer-web white forming a white wing-bay when the wing is closed

Beard, breast and thighs: black.

Belly, fluff, leg- and outertoe-feathering: black to greyish-black.

Down: white to light blue-grey.

Absence of red on the back, shoulders and wing-bows. Extensive white on the beard, breast and thighs.

Small white feather-tips in the beard, breast, and thighs. Other than a white wing-bay.

Head and neck hackle: deep salmon-red, each feather with a creamy-white vein and lacing.

Secondary-flights: outer-web salmon-colored; inner-web black-grey.

Breast flanks and thighs: creamy-white.

Belly, fluff, leg- and outertoe-feathering: slightly lighter than the breast.

Down: white, under the red feather-parts blue-grey with a white vein.

Uneven salmon-color. Rust.

Slightly irregular salmon-color and faded lacing.
