Color and pattern male
Head: white ground color, very narrowly edged with yellow.
Neck: the large feathers of the hackle are completely white; the smaller feathers, higher up in the hackle towards the throat, are also white but with yellow veining and a very narrow yellow edge.
Shoulders and back: each feather has a white triangular center with warm lemon-yellow barbs; the back feathers also have bright yellow veining; the back feathers, broad under the hackle, become narrower on the back and longer on the lower back.
Saddle: hackle feathers white with yellow veining and broad lemon-yellow barbs.
Tail: steering-feathers; sickles and greater coverts white, lesser coverts white with lemon-yellow edging.
Wings: bow feathers white with a narrow lemon-yellow edge. Greater coverts lemon-yellow with a glossy white, spangle-shaped pattern at the tip, forming two white wing bars.
Primary-flights: white.
Secondary-flights: inner vane white; outer vane mostly yellow, the tip of the feather is white; when the wing is closed, a wing-triangle is formed.
Breast and front of neck: brilliant lemon-yellow overall, each feather has a slightly lighter vein and edge.
Belly: slightly darker than the breast.
Rear-part: lemon-yellow interspersed with white.
Thighs: similar to the breast; the large feathers covering the sides of the rear-part are lemon-yellow with slightly lighter edging and veining.
Down: white
Serious faults
Too broad lacing and veining on the neck. Too pale or brownish breast, too dark in the yellow and lemon-yellow feathers. Lack of pattern on the secondar-flights. White pattern on the breast.

Head: white, very narrowly edged with yellow.
Neck: white hackle with a narrow, lemon-yellow edging that increases slightly in width towards the throat; the lower edge of the hackle is almost entirely white.
Shoulders, back and saddle: white with a narrow lemon-yellow side lacing and brilliant yellow veining; the side lacing narrows towards the saddle.
Tail: white steering feathers; white coverts and support-featherst with yellow veining and lemon-yellow edging.
Wings: wing coverts similar to the back feathers; the edging becomes broader towards the flight feathers.
Primary-flights: white.
Secondary-flights: inner vane white; outer vane white with a narrow, not sharply defined, lemon-yellow pattern at the edge of the feather; tip of the feather is white.
Front of the neck, breast, belly and thighs: lemon-yellow; the feathers on the sides of the breast, towards the wings and flanks, are lemon-yellow with a slightly lighter edging and veining.
Rear-part: lemon-yellow interspersed with white.
Down: white.
Serious faults
Too broad lacing and veining on the neck. Too pale or brownish breast, too dark in the yellow and lemon-yellow feather areas. Absence of pattern on the secondary-flights. White pattern on the breast. Too narrow, too broad, or too little lemon-yellow side lacing on the back, saddle, tail, and wing-coverts, or too broad lemon-yellow veining. Too much lemon-yellow in the feather field on the wings.
