Color and pattern male
Head: white ground-color, very narrowly edged with yellow.
Neck: large feathers of the hackle complete white; smaller feathers higher in the hackle towards the throat, white with a very narrow yellow edge and shaft.
Shoulders and back: each feather has a white triangular center with warm lemon-yellow barbs; back feathers also have a bright yellow shaft; back feathers, broad under the hackle, become narrower on the back and longer on the lower back.
Saddle-hackle: white with yellow shaft and broad lemon-yellow barbs.
Tail: steering-feathers, sickles, greater coverts white; lesser coverts white with lemon-yellow edge.
Wings: bow-feathers white with a narrow lemon-yellow edge; greater lemon-yellow with a, glossy white, spangle at the tip, forming a white wingbar.
Primary-flights: white.
Secondary-flights: inner-vane white; outer-vane mostly yellow, tip of the feather white, when the wing is closed, a wing-triangle is formed.
Breast and front of neck: overall brilliant lemon-yellow, each feather has a slightly lighter edge and shaft.
Belly: slightly darker than the breast.
Rear-part: lemon-yellow interspersed with white.
Thighs: similar to the breast; the large feathers covering the sides of the rear-part are very lemon-yellow with slightly lighter edging and shaft.
Down: white.
Serious faults
Deviant pattern on the neck-hackle. Too pale or brownish breast. Too dark in the yellow and lemon-yellow feathers. Lack of pattern on the secondary-flights. White pattern on the breast.

Color and pattern female
Head: white, very narrow edged with yellow.
Neck: hackle white with a narrow lemon-yellow edging that widens slightly towards the throat; the lower edge of the hackle is almost entirely white.
Shoulders, back, and saddle: white with a narrow entirely white edging; the edging narrows towards the saddle.
Tail: steering- feathers and coverts white; ; support-feathers with lemon-yellow edging and yellow shaft.
Wings: coverts similar to the back; the edging widens towards the wing-flights.
Primary-flights; white.
Secondary-flights: inner-vane white; outer-vane white with a narrow, not sharply defined lemon-yellow at the edge, tip of the feather is white.
Front of the neck, breast, belly and thighs: lemon-yellow); the feathers on the sides of the breast, towards the wings and rear-part, are lemon-yellow with a slightly lighter edging and shaft.
Rear-part: lemon-yellow interspersed with white
Down: white.
Serious faults
Deviant pattern on the neck-hackle. Too pale or brownish breast. Too dark in the yellow and lemon-yellow feather areas. Lack of pattern on the secondary-flights. White pattern on the breast. Too narrow, too broad, or too little lemon-yellow edging on the back, saddle, tail- and wing-coverts or too broad lemon-yellow shaft. Too much lemon-yellow on the wings.
