Color and pattern male

Head: silvery-white.

Neck- and saddle-hackle: silvery white with a glossy black shaft-stripe.

Back and shoulders: silvery-white.

Tail: steering-feathers, sickles and by-sickles black.

Wings: wing-bow and wing-bar black, primary- and  secondary-flights grayish black with a narrow grayish-white lacing on the outer vane.

Breast: black with silvery-white lacing around each feather, extending as low as possible, feather shaft whitish.

Thighs, belly, and fluff: very dark gray with silver lacing

Down: gray, turning white to the skin.

Serious faults

Insufficient shaft striping on the neck- and saddle-hackle. Insufficient lacing on the breast feathers.

Slight deviation from the standard color and pattern. Insufficient sheen in the black.

Head: silvery-white with some black pattern.

Neck-Hackle: silvery-white with a broad black shaft stripe.

Shoulders and back: grayish black, each feather with a white shaft and a fine silvery-white lacing.

Tail: black, coverts slightly patterned.

Wings: wing-bow, wing-coverts and wing-bar are identical to the back; primary - and secondary-flights are grayish-black

Breast: light grayish-black with white shafts and a silvery-white lacing on each feather.

Belly, thighs and fluff: light grayish-black with white shafts and a silvery-white lacing on each feather.

Down: gray, turning white to the skin.

Serious faults

Insufficient shaft striping on the neck-hackle. Insufficient lacing on the breast feathers.

Too black on the back and shoulders. Slight deviation from the standard color and pattern. Insufficient sheen in the black.

Note

Some residue on the legs is permitted.
