Color and pattern male

Head: golden-brown.

Neck-hackle: glossy, vibrant golden-brown.

Shoulders, back and saddle-hackle: glossy, warm golden-brown.

Tail: steering-feathers bright grey-blue; sickles and by-sickles bright grey-blue with a narrow, sharply defined golden-brown lacing.

Wings: bright golden-brown on the surface of the plumage; the wing-bar feathers have a faint, bright grey-blue, more or less flaked inner vane. Primary-flights: outer-vane golden-brown without any penciling, inner-vane bright grey-blue.

Secondary-flights: outer-vane golde-brown, inne- vane golden-brown with some bright grey-blue .

Breast, front of neck, belly and thighs: warm golden-brown, the body-feathers show some bright grey-blue transverse penciling.

Rear-part: grayish-blue with brown tinge.

Down: blue-gray.

Serious faults

Uneven gold ground-color. Much too light gold ground-color. Too light blue in the transverse penciling. Too dark in the shoulders and neck- and saddle-hackle. Too broad or very irregular lacing of the sickles or tail-coverts. Absence of the sickle lacing.

Faults

The above serious faults are present to a lesser extent. Bronze-sheen in the sickles.

Color and pattern female

Head: warm golden-yellow.

Neck-hackle: warm golden-yellow.

Shoulders and back: warm golden-yellow, each feather with bright grayish-blue transverse penciling.

Steering-feathers: golden-yellow with strong transverse penciling, most prominent in the top two.

Upper breast and front of neck: warm-golden yellow without any transverse penciling.

Wings: coverts and wing bars bright golden-yellow with transverse penciling.

Primary-feathers: outer-vane golden-brown with some bright greyish-blue penciling at the tip, inner-vane bright greyish-blue with some golden-yellow edging along the outer edge of the vane.

Secondary-feathers: golden-yellow with transverse penciling that turns into more or less longitudinal stripes on the inner-vane.

Lower breast, belly and thighs: warm golden-yellow with some transverse penciling that become stronger towards the lower part.

Down: blue-gray.

Serious faults

Golden-yellow ground-color far too light or far too dark or uneven. Coarse or very irregular transverse penciling. Insufficient depth and sharpness of the transverse penciling. Too light a blue color in the transverse penciling. Transverse pencilling rising too high on the breast.

Faults

The above serious faults are present to a lesser extent. Golden-yellow ground-color in the transverse penciling. Clearly visible penciling on the neck-hackle.
