Color and pattern male

Head: lemon-yellow.

Neck-hackle: glossy, vibrant lemon-yellow.

Shoulders, back and saddle: glossy lemon-yellow.

Tail: steering-feathers black; sickles and by-sickles glossy-greenish black with a narrow, sharply defined lemon-yellow lacing.

Wings: bright lemon-yellow on the surface of the plumage; the wing-bar feathers have a faint black, more or less transverse penciling inner vane.

Primary-flights: outer-vane lemon-yellow without any penciling, inne- vane black.

Secondary-flights: outer-vane lemon-yellow, inne- vane lemon-yellow with some black penciling.

Breast, front of neck, belly and thighs: lemo- yellow, the body-feathers show some black transverse penciling.

Rear-part: blackish-gray with brown

Down: light blue-gray.

Serious faults

Too dark or irregular lemon- yellow ground-color. Too brown on shoulders. Too broad or very irregular lacing on sickles or tail-coverts.  Absence of sickle lacing. Too light color.

Faults

The above serious faults are present to a lesser extent. Too dark on the back.

Head: lemon-yellow.

Neck-hackle: lemon-yellow.

Shoulders and back: lemon-yellow, each feather with greenish-black transverse penciling.

Tail: steering-feathers lemon-yellow with a strong transverse penciling, most prominent in the top two.

Upper breast and front of neck: lemo-yellow without any transverse penciling.

Wings: coverts and wing-bars bright lemon-yellow with transverse penciling.

Primary-flights: oute- vane lemon-yellow with some black penciling at the tip; inner-vane black with some lemon-yellow lacing along the outer edge of the vane.

Secondary-flights: lemon-yellow with transverse penciling that turns into more or less longitudinal stripes on the inner-vane.

Lower breast, belly and thighs: lemon-yellow with some transverse penciling that becomes stronger towards the lower end.

Down: light blue-gray.

Serious faults

Too dark or uneven lemon yellow-ground color. Coarse or very irregular transverse penciling. Insufficient depth and sharpness of the transverse penciling. Transverse penciling to too high on the breast.

Faults

The above serious faults are present to a lesser extent. Lemon-yellow ground-color in the transverse penciling. Clearly visible penciling on the neck-hackle.
