Neck: hackle glossy, vibrant lemon yellow, front of neck to throat similar to the breast.

Back and saddle-hackle: glossy lemon yellow for the visible part.

Shoulders: glossy lemon yellow.

Wings: coverts metallic glossy green black transverse penciled on lemon yellow; wing-bar coarsely transverse penciling, 3 to 4 times wider then those of glossy lemon yellow, forming two distinct bands across the wing.

Primary- and secondary- flights: strong transverse penciled, which become narrower towards the feather tips.

Tail: black steering-feathers; sickles and by-sickles are glossy green black, they should have a faint lemon golden penciling at the base of the feather, gradually diminishing towards the tip.

Rear-part: transverse penciled.

Down: light blue gray.

Serious faults

Extensive penciling in the neck- and saddle-hackle. Shoulder feathers that are not sufficiently vibrant lemon yellow. Weak transverse penciling throughout the plumage. Transvers penciling on the upper breast and front of the neck is not rising high enough. Weak penciling in the flight feathers. Completely insufficient sheen in the transverse penciling and sickle feathers. Too light a shade in the neck- and saddle-hackle. Horseshoe pattern. Coloration that is much too light, much too dark, or completely uneven. White in the flight feathers or tail.

Faults

The above serious faults occur to a lesser extent.
