Head and upper neck: white interspersed with black; an almost completely white head and upper neck with only a few black feathers is permitted.

Beard: black

Remaining plumage: completely white.

Down: Light blue-gray

Note

In Moorkop males a slightly shorter decorative plumage is permitted.

Color and pattern female

Head, beard, and upper neck: black; the feathers of the neck-hackle transition to white slightly below the head.

Remaining plumage: completely white.

Down: light blue-gray

Serious faults in male and female

Too much silver in the beard. Excessive color splashes on the back, breast, shoulders and tail.
