Color and pattern male

Head: silvery white.

Neck, back and saddle: silvery white, each feather ending in an elongated-shaped, glossy green black spangle; spangle is proportional in size to the feather; feathers on the front of the neck correspond to those on the breast.

Tail: steering-feathers both inside and outside silvery white, each feather ending in a glossy green black spangle; sickles silvery white, each feather ending in a medium-sized, glossy green black spangle; tail-coverts silvery white, each feather ending in a fairly large, glossy green black spangle.

Wings: shoulders silvery white, each feather ending in a slightly elongated, sharply pointed, glossy green black spangle; wing-bar silvery white, each feather ending in a black spangle, forming two distinct bands across the wings.

Primary- and secondary-flights: white, each feather ending in a black spangle.

Breast: silvery white, each feather ending in a large, almost round glossy green black spangle, sized to create a uniform, sufficiently open pattern.

Belly: similar to the breast color and pattern, but the spangle pattern becomes heavier towards the bottom.

Thighs: similar to the belly, but black predominates towards the bottom.

Rear-part: dark blue-gray with white tinge.

Down: blue-gray.

Serious faults

Yellow tint in the ornamental feathers. Clearly visible peppering in the tail feathers. Little or insufficient spangled pattern in the neck- and saddle-hackle. Insufficient spangled pattern at the ends of the sickles. Partially or entirely black tail coverts. Excessively heavy, excessively light, or crescent-shaped spangled pattern on the breast, belly, and thighs. Insufficient shoulder pattern.

The above serious faults are present to a lesser extent.

Wings: coverts silvery white, each feather ending in a large, nearly circular, glossy black spangle, sized to create a uniform, sufficiently open pattern; wing-bar silvery white, each feather ending in a large, nearly circular, glossy black fringe, forming two distinct bands across the wing.

Primary- and secondary-flights: silvery white, each feather ending in a black spangle.

Breast: silvery white, each feather ending in a large, nearly circular, glossy black spange, sized to create a uniform, sufficiently open pattern.

Thighs: similar to the breast, but the black predominates towards the bottom.

Fluff: dark blue-gray with white tinge.

Down: blue-gray.

Too small, too large or horseshoe-shaped spangles. Visible tinge in the tail feathers. Lack of spangles on the throat.
