Color and pattern male
Head: silvery-white.
Neck-hackle: glossy, vibrant silvery-white.
Shoulders, back, and saddle: glossy silvery-white.
Tail: steering-feathers black; sickles and coverts glossy-greenish black with a narrow, sharply defined silvery-white lacing.
Wings: vibrant silvery-white coverts; the wing-bar feathers have a faint transverse penciled inner vane.
Primary-flights: outer-vane silvery-white without any pattern, inner-vane black.
Secondary-flights: outer-vane silvery-white, inner-vane silvery-white with some black pattern.
Breast, front of neck, belly, and thighs: warm silvery white; the body-feathers show some black penciling.
Rear-part: blackish grey with brown tinge.
Down: light-grey.
Serious faults
Yellow tint in neck- and saddle-hackle. Rust on shoulders. Black spots on breast, belly, thighs, and wing-coverts. Excessively broad or irregular lacing of sickles or tait- coverts. Absence of sickle penciling.

Wings: coverts and wing-bar bright silvery-white with transverse penciling.
Primary-flights: outer-vane silvery-white with some black penciling at the tip; inner-vane black with some white lacing along the outer edge of the vane.
Secondary-flights: silvery-white with transverse penciling that turns into more or less longitudinal stripes on the inner-vane.
Lower breast, belly, and thighs: silvery-white with some transverse penciling that become stronger towards the bottom.
Down: light-grey.
Serious faults
Yellow tint in the ground-color. Coarse or very irregular transverse penciling. Insufficient depth and sharpness of the transverse penciling. Transverse penciling too high on the breast. Transverse penciling in the neck-hackle.
Faults
The above serious faults present to a lesser extent. Silvery-ground color in the transverse penciling.
