Color and pattern male
Head: warm golden yellow.
Neck: hackle warm golden yellow; front of neck to throat similar to the breast.
Shoulders: warm golden yellow.
Back and saddle-hackle: warm golden yellow for the visible part.
Wings: coverts white transverse penciled on golden yellow; wing-bar coarsely white transverse penciling, 3 to 4 times wider then those of deep golden yellow, forming two distinct bands across the wing.
Primary- and secondary- flights: strong transverse penciled, which become narrower towards the feather tips.
Tail: steering-feathers white; sickles and by- sickles white, they should show a faint warm golden yellow transverse penciling at the base of the feather, gradually diminishing in strength towards the tip.
Breast, belly, and thighs: feathers white transverse penciled on warm golden yellow, the white penciling becomes noticeably wider towards the bottom and rear than the warm golden yellow, tip of the feather white.
Rear-part: tranverse penciled.
Down: grayish-white to white.
Serious faults
Extensive penciling in the neck- and saddle-hackle. Shoulder feathers that are not sufficiently golden-yellow. Weak transverse penciling throughout the plumage.Transvers penciling on the upper breast and front of the neck is not rising high enough Weak penciling on the flights. Horseshoe penciling. Lemon-yellow color in the white pumage and the neck- and saddle-hackle.

Belly and thighs: as strongly transvers penciled as possible, like the breast feathers.
Down: grayish-white to white.
Serious faults
Plenty penciling on the lower portion of the hackle. Too weak transverse penciling throughout the plumage. Insufficiently penciling on the upper breast. Weak penciling on the flights. Insufficient white penciling on the tail feathers. Lemon-yellow color in the white plumage and the neck-hackle.
