Color male and female

Upper plumage is an even grayish light brown color overall, without any noticeable sheen.

Ornamental feathers of the rooster, as well as the back and shoulder feathers, are slightly darker in color.

Down: light khaki to white.

Note

Evenness takes precedence over intensity of color.

Uneven color, too light or too dark overall. Patches that are too dark on the rooster's shoulders. White in the plumage.
