Isabel-partridge
Color and pattern of the male
Head: isabel-yellow.
Neck: from top to bottom changing from isabel-yellow to light isabel-yellow; each feather with a lavender shaft-stripe, runs parallel to the outline, ends in a point near the tip, no high demands on the sharpness and the intensity; front of the neck lavender.
Back, shoulders and wing-arch: light isabel-yellow.
Saddle-hackle: isabel-yellow to light isabel-yellow; each feather with a more or less distinct lavender shaft-stripe, absence is not considered a fault; a slightly deeper tint than in the neck-hackle is permitted, equality is desired.
Tail: steering-feathers, sickles and coverts lavender.
Wings: bow and wing-bar lavender.
Primary-flights: lavender with a narrow cream edge along the outer-vane.
Secondary-flights: inner-vane lavender, outer-vane cream, forming a cream wing-triangle when the wing is closed.
Breast, belly, thighs and rear-part: lavender.
Down: silvery-lavender.
Serious faults
White in sickles, tail and wing-flights. Much isabel-yellow in the breast, belly and thighs. Too light color in the lower part of the neck-hackle. Too light isabel-yellow resulting in a lack of contrast with lavender. Absence of shaft-stripes on the neck-hackle.
Faults
Minor deviations in color and pattern. Insufficient sharply defined neck- and saddle-hackle. Incomplete colored wing-triangle.
