Color and pattern male

Plumage: warm yellow ground-color, each feather  three or four times crosswise interrupted by a light creamy-white, slightly arched, bar which is not sharply defined; in ornamental feathers the number of crosswise bars is greater in proportion to the feather's length and tends towards an inverted V, most notably in the hackles;  color and pattern should be as uniform as possible over the entire body, some darker discoloration in the  hackles is permissible;

Tail: brownish-grey or dark- grey with light-gray cuckoo pattern

Down: yellowish to creamy white.

Serious faults

Greyish discoloration on back, shoulders, wing-archa and saddle. White wing triangle. Whitish breast.  Absence of cuckoo pattern in shaft-stripes and tail.

Plumage: as for the male, but the cuckoo pattern somewhat fainter; some greyish shaft-stripes with cuckoo pattern are permitted at the lower part of the neck-hackle.

Down: yellowish to creamy white.

Absence of cuckoo pattern. Greyish discorolation on back, shoulders, wings and saddle.
