Primary flight feathers: bright blue with a lemon-yellow edge on the outer margin of the outer web. Secondary flight feathers: inner web bright blue with a lemon-yellow edge extending around the tip of the feather; outer web lemon-yellow, so that the wing appears entirely lemon-yellow when closed.

Serious faults
Insufficient patterning in the neck hackle; strong presence of bright blue in areas that should be lemon-yellow on the surface, such as the wing coverts, the sides of the breast, and the flanks; broken shaft-stripe patterning. Also, a highly irregular lemon-yellow ground color and/or a ground color tending towards buff or becoming too pale.
Faults
The above serious faults present to a lesser degree; insufficient patterning in the tail coverts; insufficient patterning in the flight feathers; presence of entirely black or partially black feather areas within the blue patterning; a shade of blue that is far too dark or far too light; a slightly uneven lemon-yellow base color that is too light or too dark.
