Silver black single-laced
Color and pattern male
Head: silver-white, each feather with a black middle-stripe, ends in a sharp point near the tip.
Neck: hackle silver-white, each feather with a strong glossy green-black middle-stripe, running almost parallel to the edge, ends in a point near the tip; shaft silver-white; front of the neck similar to the breast.
Back, shoulders and wingbows: silver-white, on the back some black lacing allowed.
Wings: front silver-white with black lacing; greater-coverts silver-white with a narrow, sharply defined, glossy green-black lacing, forming a wing-bar when the wing is closed.
Primary-flights: black with a narrow silver-white lace on the outer-web.
Secondary-flights: outer-web base black, the other half silver-white with a black lace, which widens at the tip; inner-web black with a narrow silver-white lace.
Saddle-hackle: similar to the neck-hackle but each feather with a silver-white elongated centre.
Tail: main-feathers black; sickles and greater-coverts glossy green-black; smaller-coverts similar to the saddle-hackle but with a wider silver-white centre.
Breast, thighs and belly: each feather silver-white with a narrow, sharply defined, glossy green-black lace.
Fluff: greyish.
Down: greyish.
Serious faults
Breaking through of the middle-stripe on the tip of hackle feathers. Much too wide lacing. Narrow white lace around the black lacing. Poorly defined and interrupted lacing. Very irregular lacing. Much white in the sickles. Complete black feathers on flanks and thighs. White in wing-flights and tail main-feathers. Much rust on shoulders.
Faults
Serious faults to a lesser degree.
