Color and pattern male

Head and neck: black with brown mixing; front of the neck similar to the breast.

Back, shoulders and wing-bows: black with golden-yellow mixing; golden-yellow abundantly present on the back.

Saddle-hackle: black with brownish-yellow mixing; shaft-stripes not desired. 

Primary-flights: black.

Secondary-flights: inner-web black, outer-web light-yellow forming a light-yellow wing-bay when the wing is closed.

Tail: black, some white at the base of the main-sickles allowed.

Breast: glossy green-black.

Belly, thighs and fluff: black.

Down: grey.

Serious faults

Absence of brown in head and neck. Absence of marking in the outer-web of the secondary-flights.

Serious faults to a lesser degree. Too much white in the tail.

Head and neck: black with a cream to light golden-brown blurred feather-edge which does not enclose; front of the neck similar to the breast.

Back, wing-coverts and saddle: cream to light golden-brown with some black mixing.

 

Primary-flights: black.

Secondary-flights: inner-web black, outer-web cream to light golden-brown mixed with some black.

Tail: main-feathers black; coverts cream to light golden-brown with black mixing.

Breast: cream to light golden-brown, feather-vein is slightly lighter and clearly distinguishable.

Belly, thighs and fluff: cream to light golden-brown, mixed with some dark-grey on the fluff.

Down: grey.

Serious faults

Clearly shaft-stripes which encloses the feather-edge. Peppering and lacing on back, wing-coverts and saddle. Excessive black mixing in the breast.
