Color and pattern male

Head and hackles: ivory yellow; neck-hackle with or without a rusty-red patch on either side of the neck-hackle.

Beard: bright-blue.

Back, shoulders and wing-bows: bright cherry-mahogany, copper-colored laced, lighter in older male's.

Tail: main-feathers and sickles bright blue; upper-coverts partial reddish-brown.

Wing-bar: bright blue.

Primary-flights: bright-blue with a narrow white lace on the outer-web.

Secondary-flights: inner-web bright-blue, outer-web white forming a white wing-bay when the wing is closed.

Breast, thighs, belly, fluff, leg- and outertoe-feathering: bright-blue.

Down: white to light blue-grey.

White in beard and breast. Absence of the neck-patch. Excessive yellow-white marking on the wing-arch.

Serious faults occur to a lesser degree. White in the sickles. Too dark and/or uneven shade of blue. Black feather parts.

Head and neck-hackle: reddish-brown without blue markings; each hackle-feather a yellow-white lacing and a light vein.

Beard: creamy-white.

Back, shoulder, wing-coverts and saddle: uniform salmon-red, each feather has a yellow-white lacing and a light vein.

Tail: main-feathers salmon-red.

Wing-flights: outer-web salmon-colored, inner-web grey-blue.

Breast, flanks and thighs: yellowish-white with some reddish tinge.

Belly, fluff, leg- and outertoe-feathering: slightly lighter than the breast.

Down: blue-grey.

Uneven salmon color or too red color. Almost complete absence of lacing. Neck-hackle marking.

Serious faults occur to a lesser degree. Too dark and/or uneven shade of blue. Black feather parts.
