Head: buff.

Neck: each hackle-feather with a medium-wide, green-glossy black shaft-stripe, surrounded by a narrow buff lace, which runs around the tip; front of the neck buff.

Back and shoulders: buff, below the neck-hackle buff and black.

Saddle-hackle: buff or buff with black shaft-stripes, similar to the neck-hackle, extending from the tip of the feather no more than halfway down.

Tail: steering-feathers black; support-feathers black with buff lacing; sickles and greater-coverts green-glossy black; smaller-coverts green-glossy black with narrow buff lacing.

Wings: bow buff, may be partly black; wing-arch and wing-bar buff.

Primary-flights: black with buff lace on the outside of the outer-vane.

Secondary-flights: inner-vane black with buff lace that runs around the tip; outer-vane buff so that when the wing is closed it is complete buff.

Breast, belly, flanks, thighs and rear-part: buff.

Down: blue-grey.

Serious faults

Insufficient pattern in the neck-hackle. Buff in the sickles. Pattern in the buff saddle-hackle. Strong presence of black in parts that should be buff on the surface, such as the wing-coverts, breast, body and thighs. Broken shaft-stripes. Deviations in color-depth in different feather-groups.

Faults

The above serious faults occurring to a lesser extent. Insufficient pattern in the tail support-feathers and the wing-flights.
