Color and pattern male
Head: cream-colored.
Neck- and saddle-hackle : cream-colored with blackish shaft stripes.
Front of neck, breast, belly, thighs and body: deep black.
Shoulders, back and shoulder arch: uneven orange-red (marbled); the feathers have a black body section, an orange-red center, and a cream-colored feather edge.
Wings: wing-bar glossy green black.
Primary-flights: black with a narrow cream-colored edge on the outer vane. S
Secondary-flights: inner vane black, outer vane cream-colored with a reddish-brown edge on the upper side, forming a cream-colored wing triangle with a visible brown edge when the wing is closed.
Tail and sickles: glossy green black; by sickles: glossy green black with cream edging.
Down: grayish.
Serious faults
Too yellow in the neck, saddle, and wing-triangle. Evenly colored back, shoulder, and wing- coverts. Excessive white on the breast, belly and thighs. Excessively heavy hackle pattern or lack there of. Cream-colored edging on the main sickles.
Faults
The above serious faults are present to a lesser extent. Much brown in the wing-triangle.
Color and pattern female
Head: cream-coloured.
Neck: hackle: cream-coloured with lighter veining, with a blackish-brown shaft stripe pattern along the lower part of the feather.
Front of the neck: light salmon-coloured with light veining and light feather lacing.
Back, saddle, shoulders, and wing-coverts: light salmon-coloured with cream-coloured lacing and cream-coloured veining; some peppering on the back and saddle is still permitted for the time being.
Breast, belly, thighs, and body: light salmon-coloured with light veining and light feather edging; gradually lightening from top to bottom without peppering.
Primary- and secondary-flights: outer vane light salmon; inner vane light salmon with some blackish-brown peppering.
Tail: steering-feathers matte black; the upper tail feathers with a salmon-colored edge on the underside of the feathers; other tail feathers with or without a salmon-colored edge; coverts light salmon, if possible with a light salmon-colored lacing.
Down: light salmon to light gray.
Serious faults
Too much yellow in the hackle and the absence of the shaft stripe pattern. Too light or too dark salmon color. Absence of the light feather edge. Too light breast color. Excessive peppering on the back and saddle.
