Color and pattern male

Head: cream.

Neck and saddle: hackles cream with blackish middle-stripes; front of the neck deep black.

Back, shoulders and wing-bows: uneven marbled orange-red, feathers black near the skin, a orange-red center and a cream edge.

Wing-bars: glossy green-black.

Primary-flights: black with a narrow cream lace along the outer-web.

Secondary-flights: inner-web black, outer-web cream with a reddish-brown lace, forming a cream wing-bay with a visible brown edge when the wing is closed.

Tail: glossy green-black main-feathers and sickles, lesser-sickles with cream lacing.

Breast, thighs, belly and fluff: deep black.

Down: greyish.

Serious faults

Too yellow in the neck, saddle and wing-triangle. Excessive heavy middle-stripes or lack there of in the hackles. Even colored back, shoulders and wing-bows. Excessive white on the breast, thighs, belly and fluff. Cream lacing on the greater sickles.

Faults

Serious faults to a lesser degree. Much brown in the wing-bay.

Color and pattern female

Head: cream.

Neck: hackle cream, feathers with lighter shaft and blackish-brown middle-stripes on the lower part of the hackle; front of the neck similar to the back.

Back, shoulders, wing-coverts and saddle: light salmon-color with cream lacing and shaft; some peppering on the back and saddle is still allowed for the time being.

Primary- and secondary-flights: outer-web light-salmon; inner-web light-salmon with some blackish-brown peppering.

Breast, thighs, belly and fluff: similar to the back, gradual lightening from top to bottom without peppering.

Tail: matt black main-feathers, the upper-ones with a salmon lace at the underside; sickles with or without a salmon lace; coverts light-salmon, if possible with a lighter lacing.

Down: light-salmon to light-grey.

Serious faults

Too yellow in the hackle and absence of middle-stripes. Too light or too dark salmon-color. Lack of the light feather-lace. Too light breast-color. Excessive peppering on back and saddle.
