Color and pattern male
Head: cream-colored.
Neck- and saddle-hackle : cream-colored with blackish shaft stripes.
Front of neck, breast, belly, thighs and body: deep black.
Shoulders, back and shoulder-arch: uneven orange-red (marbled, feathers are black near the skin, a orange-red center and a cream-colored edge.
Wings: wing-bar green-glossy black.
Primary-flights: black with a narrow cream-colored edge on the outer-vane.
Secondary-flights: inner-vane black, outer-vane cream-colored with a reddish-brown edge on the upper-side, forming a cream-colored wing- triangle with a visible brown edge when the wing is closed.
Tail: green-glossy black steering-feathers and sickles, by-sickles green-glossy black with cream edging.
Down: greyish.
Serious faults
Too yellow in the neck, saddle and wing-triangle. Evenly colored back, shoulder and wing- coverts. Excessive white on the breast, belly and thighs. Excessively heavy hackle pattern or lack there of. Cream-colored edging on the main sickles.
Faults
The above serious faults are present to a lesser extent. Much brown in the wing-triangle.
Color and pattern female
Head: cream-colored.
Neck: hackle: cream-colored with lighter shaft and a blackish-brown shaft-stripe pattern along the lower part of the feather.
Front of the neck: light salmon-colored with light edging and shaft.
Back, saddle, shoulders and wing-coverts: light salmon-colored with cream-colored edging and shaft; some peppering on the back and saddle is still permitted for the time being.
Breast, belly, thighs, and body: light salmon-color with lighter edging and shaft, gradual lightening from top to bottom without peppering.
Primary- and secondary-flights: outer-vane light-salmon; inner-vane light-salmon with some blackish-brown peppering.
Tail: steering-feathers matt-black, the upper feathers with a salmon-color edge at the underside; other tail-feathers with or without a salmon-color edge; coverts light-salmon, if possible with a light salmon-colored lacing.
Down: light-salmon to light-grey.
Serious faults
Too much yellow in the hackle and lack of shaft-stripe pattern. Too light or too dark salmon-color. Lack of the light feather-edge. Too light breast-color. Excessive peppering on back and saddle.
Faults
