Color and pattern male

Head: lemon-yellow.

Neck: each hackle-feather with a medium-wide, green-glossy black shaft-stripe, surrounded by a narrow lemon-yellow lace, which runs around the -tip; front of the neck lemon-yellow.

Back and shoulders: lemon-yellow, below the neck-hackle lemon-yellow and black.

Saddle-hackle: lemon-yellow or lemon-yellow with black shaft-stripes, similar to the neck-hackle, extending from the tip of the feather no more than halfway down.

Tail: steering-feathers black; support-feathers black with lemon-yellow lacing; sickles and greater-coverts green-glossy black; smaller-coverts green-glossy black with narrow lemon-yellow lacing.

Tail: steering-feathers black; support-feathers black with buff lacing; sickles and greater-coverts green-glossy black; smaller-coverts green-glossy black with narrow buff lacing.

Wings: lemon-yellow , may be partly black; wing-arch and wing-bar lemon-yellow .

Primary-flights: black lemon-yellow lace on the outside of the outer-vane.

Secondary-flights: inner-vane black with lemon-yellow lace that runs around the feather tip; outer-vane lemon-yellow  so that when the wing is closed it is complete lemon-yellow.

Breast, belly, flanks, thighs and rear-part: lemon-yellow.

Down: light lemon-yellow or light blue-gray, preferably the latter.

Serious faults

Insufficient pattern in the neck-hackle. Lemon-yellow in the sickles. Pattern in the saddle-hackle. Strong presence of black in the parts that should be lemon-yellow on the surface, such as wing-coverts, breast, body and thighs. Broken shaf-stripes.  A highly irregular lemon-yellow ground-color and/or a ground-color that tends towards buff or that becomes too pale.

Faults

The above serious faults occurring to a lesser extent. Insufficient pattern in the tail support-feathers and the wing-flights. A slightly uneven, too light or too dark lemon-yellow ground-color.

Head: lemon-yellow.

Neck: hackle, starting approximately at the transition of neck and head, has a medium-wide, green-glossy black shaft-stripe pattern, complete surrounded by a narrow, lemon-yellow lace; front of the neck lemon-yellow.

Back and shoulders: lemon-yellow, below the neck-hackle lemon-yellow and black.

Tail: steering-feathers black, except for the top two feathers, which are faintly lemon-yellow laced; coverts black with lemon-yellow lace.

Wings: bow and coverts lemon-yellow.

Primary-flights: black with lemon-yellow lace on the outside of the outer-vane.

Secondary-flights: inner-vane black with lemon-yellow lace that runs around the feather tip; outer-vane lemon-yellow  so that when the wing is closed it is complete lemon-yellow.

Deviations in color depth in different feather groups. A very irregular lemon-yellow ground-color and/or a ground-color that tends towards buff or that becomes too pale.
