Color and pattern male

Head: buff.

Neck: each hackle-feather with a medium-wide white shaft-stripe, surrounded by a narrow buff lace, which runs around the tip; front of the neck buff.

Back and shoulders: buff, below the neck-hackle buff and white.

Saddle-hackle: buff or buff with white shaft-stripes, similar to the neck-hackle, extending from the tip of the feather no more than halfway down.

Tail: steering-feathers white; support-feathers white with buff lacing; sickles and greater-coverts white; smaller-coverts white with narrow buff lacing.

Wings: bow buff, may be partly white; wing-arch and wing-bar buff.

Primary-flights: white with buff lace on the outside of the outer-vane.

Secondary-flights: inner-vane white with buff lace that runs around the feather tip; outer-vane buff so that when the wing is closed it is complete buff.

Breast, belly, flanks and thighs: buff.

Rear-part: buff mixed with white

Down: white.

Serious faults

Insufficient pattern in the neck-hackle. Buff in the sickles. Pattern in the buff saddle-hackle. Strong presence of white in parts that should be buff on the surface, such as the wing-coverts, breast, flanks and thighs. Broken shaft-stripes. Deviations in color-depth in different feather-groups.

Faults

The above serious faults occurring to a lesser extent. Insufficient pattern in the tail support-feathers and the wing-flights.

Color and pattern female

Head: buff.

Neck: hackle, starting approximately at the transition of neck and head, has a medium-wide, white shaft-stripe, complete surrounded by a narrow buff lace; front of the neck buff.

Back and shoulders: buff, below the neck-hackle buff and white.

Tail: steering-feathers white, except for the top two feathers, which are faintly buff laced; coverts white with narrow buff lace.

Wings: bow and coverts buff.

Primary-flights: white with buff lace on the outside of the outer-vane.

Secondary-flights: inner-vane white with buff lace that runs around the feather tip; outer-vane buff so that when the wing is closed it is complete buff.

Breast, belly, flanks and thighs: buff.
