Gold blue single-laced
Color and pattern male
Head: rich golden-bay each feather with a bright-blue middle-stripe, ends in a sharp point near the tip.
Neck: hackle rich golden-bay, each feather with a strong bright-blue middle-stripe, running almost parallel to the edge, ends in a point near the tip; shaft golden-bay; front of the neck similar to the breast.
Back, shoulders and wingbows: rich golden-bay, on the back some bright-blue lacing allowed.
Wings: front golden-brown with bright-blue lacing; greater-coverts rich golden-brown with a narrow, sharply defined, bright-blue lacing, forming a wing-bar when the wing is closed.
Primary-flights: bright-blue with a narrow golden-bay lace on the outer-web.
Secondary-flights: outer-web base bright-blue, the other half golden-bay with a bright-blue lace, which widens at the tip; inner-web black with a narrow golden-brown lace.
Saddle-hackle: similar to the neck-hackle but each feather with a rich golden-brown elongated centre.
Tail: main-feathers bright-blue; sickles and greater-coverts bright-blue; smaller-coverts similar to the saddle-hackle but with a wider rich golden-bay centre.
Breast, thighs and belly: each feather rich golden-bay with a narrow, sharply defined, bright-blue lace.
Fluff: greyish brown.
Down: blue-grey, becoming lighter towards the base.
Serious faults
Breaking through of the middle-stripe on the tip of hackle feathers. Uneven ground-color or a tint deviating from rich golden-bay. Light shafts. Much too wide lacing. Narrow golden-bay lace around the bright-blue lacing. Poorly defined and interrupted lacing. Very irregular lacing. Much brown in the sickles. Complete bright-blue feathers on flanks and thighs. White in wing-flights and tail main-feathers. A much too dark or much too light shade of blue. Entire or partial black feathers.
Faults
Serious faults to a lesser degree.
