Back and shoulder-arch: black with brass-colored mixing.
Saddle-hackle: bright-blue with a blurred brown-yellow feather-edge.
Tail: bright-blue, some white at the base of the main-sickles is permitted.
Primary-flights: bright-blue.
Secondary-flights: inner-vane bright-blue, some blurry brass-colored marking in the outer-vane is permitted.
Breast: blue
Belly, thighs and rear-part: bright-blue

Brass-color is under the influence of blue dilution slightly lighter.

Clearly visible shaft-stripe pattern on the head and neck. Marking in the primary-flights. Extensive marking in the outer-vane of the secondary-flights.
Faults
Serious faults occur to a lesser extent. Too yellow or too light ground-color on back and shoulders. Excessive white in the tail. Too pale, too dark or uneven blue. Entirely or partially black feathers.

Back, wing-coverts and saddle: bright blue with a brass vein and a cream to blurred brownish feather-edge is permitted.

Secondary-flights: preferably entirely blue but may show some blurred brown marking or a blue haze on the outer-edge.
Breast: creamy to light brown in the center; towards the outside mixed with some bright-blue; veins are lighter tinted and clearly distinguishable.
Belly, thighs and rear-part: cream to light brown with some bright-blue mixing.
Down: grey
