Color and pattern male
Head: white.
Neck: each hackle-feather with a medium-wide green-glossy black shaft-stripe, surrounded by a narrow, silver-white lace, which runs around the tip; front of the neck white.
Back and shoulders: white, below the neck-hackle black and white.
Saddle-hackle: white or white with black shaft-stripes, similar to the neck-hackle, extending from the tip of the feather no more than halfway down.
Tail: steering-feathers black; support-feathers black with white lacing; sickles and greater-coverts green-glossy black; smaller-coverts green-glossy black with narrow silver-white lacing.
Wings: bow white, may be partly black; wing-arch and wing-bar white.
Primary-flights: black with white lace on the outside of the outer-vane.
Secondary-flights: inner-vane black with white lace that runs around the tip; outer-vane white, forming a complete white wing when it is closed.
Breast, belly, flanks, thighs and rear-part: white.
Down: light blue-grey.
Serious faults
Insufficient pattern in the hackle(s). White in the sickles. Pattern in the white saddle-hackle. Strong presence of black in areas that should be white on the surface, such as wing-coverts, breast, body and thighs. Broken shaft-stripes. Strong yellow tint in the ornamental feathers.

The above serious faults occurring to a lesser extent. Insufficient pattern on the tail support-feathers and the wing-flights.
