Head: buff.

Neck: each hackle-feather with a medium-wide green-glossy black shaft-stripe, surrounded by a narrow buff lace running around the tip; front of the neck white.

Back, shoulders and saddle-hackle: buff, below the neck-hackle buff and white.

Tail: steering-feathers black; support-feathers black with buff lacing; sickles and coverts green-glossy black; smaller-coverts with narrow buff lacing.

Wings: bow buff, may be partly black; wing-arch and wing-bar buff.

Primary-flights: black with buff lace on the outside of the outer-vane.

Secondary-flights: inner-vane black with buff lace running around the tip; outer-vane buff forming a complete buff wing when it is closed.

Breast, flanks, thighs, belly and rear-part: buff.

Down: buff, light grey permitted.

Serious faults

Insufficient or broken shaft-stripes in the neck-hackle. Buff in the sickles. Presence of black in areas that should be buff. Shaft-stripes in the saddle-hackle. Feather-groups varying in color-depth.

Serious faults to a lesser degree. Insufficient pattern in tail support-feathers and wing-flights.
