Neck- and saddle-hackle: silvery white, each feather with a green-glossy black shaft stripe, running parallel to the feather edge; the shaft stripe ends in a point near the end of the feather; shaft black.

Back and shoulders: silvery white

Tail, wings, front of neck, and breast: completely glossy green black.

Belly, thighs and fluff: black.

Down: grayish black.
