Color and pattern male

Head: silvery-white.

Neck: hackle silvery-white, each feather has a bright-blue shaft-stripe; the sharpness of the pattern and the intensity of the shaft-stripe are not particularly demanding, the shaft-stripe, if present, ends in a point near the tip; the front of the neck bright-blue.

Shoulders and back: silvery-white

Saddle: hackle silvery-white with more or less distinct blue shaft-stripe pattern; the absence of hackle pattern is not considered a fault.

Tail: steering-feathers, sickles, by-sickles and coverts are bright-blue.

Wings: bow blue; wing-bar bright-blue.

Primary-flights: bright-blue with a narrow white edge along the outer-vane.

Secondary-flights: inner-vane bright-blue, outer-vane white, forming a white wing-triangle when the wing is closed.

Belly, thighs and rear-part: ash-grey.

Down: greyish.

Serious faults

Yellow tint in neck- and saddle-hackle. Rusty brown or red on shoulders. Extensive white on breast, belly and thighs. White in sickles and tail. Strongly deviating or uneven blue.

Faults

The above serious faults occur to a lesser extent. Incomplete colored wing-triangle. Complete absence of the shaft-stripe pattern.

Color and pattern female

Head: silvery-white.

Neck: hackle silvery-white, each feather with a bright-blue shaft-stripe; the sharpness of the pattern and the intensity of the shaft-stripe are not particularly demanding; the shaft-stripe runs parallel to the feather edge and ends in a point near the tip; front of the neck light salmon-colored.

Shoulders: light grey with fine, evenly distributed blue peppering, with minimal light-colored veins.

Back and saddle: similar to the shoulders.

Tail: steering-feathers bright-blue with the exception of the upper ones, which as well as  the coverts, are light-grey with small blue speckles.

Wings: coverts similar to the shoulders.

Primary-flights: blue-grey with a narrow greyish-white outer-vane.

Secondary-flights: outer-vane, similar to the shoulders; inner-vane greyish-white.

Breast: light salmon-colored, veins of the same color; fading to light-grey at the thighs.

Belly, thighs and rear-part: ash-grey.

Down: greyish.

Note

A slightly lighter edging of the feathers on back and wing-coverts is permissible but not desirable.

Serious faults

Red or rusty on wings. Brown sheen on back, saddle and wing coverts. Light veins. Complete absence of shaft-stripe pattern. Yellowish tint in the neck-hackle.

Faults

The above serious faults occur to a lesser extent. Slightly clumped peppering and light veins on the breast.
