Goldpartridge mottled

Color and pattern male

Plumage: similar to goldpartridge or even slightly deeper color; each feather should end as far as possible in a white mottle.

Neck- and saddle-hackle: mahogany-reddish brown without shaft-striping.

Shoulders and back: each feather should end as much as possible in a white mottle. The more white mottles and the more evenly distributed they are, the better, but the white mottles should be small so that the partridge-color complete dominates and the bird does not appear too heavily white mottled.

Color and pattern female

Plumage: similar to goldpartidge however the partridge brown is very dark due to the very strong black peppering, so that the black intensification near the white mottle, results in a barely noticeable narrow blackish band; the mottling should be as numerous and as evenly distributed as possible throughout the plumage, but so small that the partridge brown is complete dominant and the bird does not appear mottled.

Breast: salmon-reddish brown

Serious faults male and female

Complete white feathers in the tail and wings of young chickens. Overly large white mottles. Very irregular pattern.

Faults male and female

Much white in the tail and wing-flights of young chickens. Slightly overly large white mottles in the remaining plumage and slightly irregular pattern.  Too light neck-hackle as well as too light and incomplete colored wing-triangle on the male.
