Color and pattern male

Head: creamy-white.

Neck: hackle feathers are creamy-white; each feather has a green-glossy, black shaft-stripe, running parallel to the feather-edge; the shaft-stripe ends in a point near the tip; front of the neck black.

Shoulders and back: orange

Saddle: hackle creamy-white with more or less distinct shaft-stripes.

Tail: black steering-feathers; sickles, by-sickle and coverts green-glossy black.

Wings: black bow; wing-bar green-glossy black.

Primary-flights: black with a narrow white edge along the oute- vane.

Secondary-flights: the outer-vane creamy-white, transitioning to brown towards the tip, so that when the wing is closed, the wing triangle is almost entirely creamy-white with a visible brown edge on the upper side; the inner-vane is black.

Breast: green-glossy black.

Belly, thighs and rear-part: black.

Down: greyish.

Serious faults

Yellow tint in neck- and saddle-hackle. Extensive white on breast, belly, and thighs. White in sickles and tail. Dark color in neck- and saddle-hackle and/or shoulders.

Faults

The above serious faults occur to a lesser extent. Incomplete colored wing-triangle.

Color and pattern female

Head: silvery-white.

Neck: hackle silvery-white, each feather with a broad, glossy black shaft stripe, running parallel to the feather-edge, ends in a point near the tip; the front of the neck is similar to the breast.

Shoulders: light-grey with small evenly distributed black peppering and as little light colored veining as possible, slightly darker, warmer shade is permitted.

Back and saddle: similar to the shoulders.

Tail: black steering-feathers except for the upper ones, which, like the coverts, are light-grey with little dark-grey peppering.

Wings: bow, wing-bar and coverts similar to the shoulders.

Primariy-flights: blackish-grey with a narrow greyish-white outer-vane.

Secondary-flights: outer-vane similar to the shoulders; inner-vane: greyish-white.

Breast: salmon red-brown, fading to light-grey at the thighs.

Belly, thighs and rear-part: ash-grey.

Down: greyish.

Serious faults

Red or rusty on wings. Brown sheen on back, saddle and wing-coverts. Yellowish tint in the neck-hackle. Too light breast color. Light veins.

Faults

The above serious faults occur to a lesser extent.
