Color and pattern male

Head: orange.

Neck- and saddle- hackle: orange-gold to light orange-gold; each feather with a broad bright-blue shaft-stripe, running parallel to the edge, ends in a point near the tip.

Front of the neck: bright-blue, each feather with orange-gold lacing and a blue vein.

Back, shoulders and wing-bows: orange-golden yellow, slightly intermingled with blue-gray, at the base of the feather broadly laced.

Tail, wing-bar and flights: bright blue.

Breast: bright-blue, each feather with an orange-gold lacing to top of thighs, vein blue.

Thighs, belly and fluff: bright-blue.

Down: grayish blue.

Color and pattern female

Head: orange.

Neck-hackle: orange-gold to light orange-gold, each feather with a broad bright-blue shaft-stripe, running parallel to the edge, ends in a point near the tip.

Front of the neck: bright-blue, each feather with a narrow orange-gold lacing.

Back, saddle, tail and wings: bright-blue.

Breast: bright blue, each feather with a narrow orange-gold lacing to top of thighs.

Thighs, belly and fluff: bright-blue.

Down: grayish-blue.

Serious faults male and female

Straw-yellow color in the colored feathers. Insufficient shaft-stripes in the hackles. Complete insufficient or too far downward lacing of the breast-feathers.
