Head: silver-white.

Neck: hackle silvery-white; a narrow gray stripe in the lower feathers is permitted but not desired.

Back and shoulder-arch: silvery-white.

Saddle: hackle silvery-white.

Tail: steering-feathers black; sickles, secondary sickles and coverts green-glossy black.

Wings: shoulder black; wing band green-glossy black.

Primary-flights: black with a narrow white edge along the outer-vane.

Secondary-flights: inner-vane black, outer-vane white, forming a white wing-triangle when the wing is closed.

Breast: green-glossy black.

Belly, thighs and rear-part: black.

Down: greyish.

Serious faults

Yellow tint in neck- and saddle-hackle. Rust-brown or red on the shoulders. Excessive white in breast, belly and thighs. White in tail. Excessive pattern in neck- and saddle-hackle.

The serious faults occur to a lesser extent. Incomplete white wing-triangle.

Color and pattern female

Head: silvery white.

Neck: hackle silvery white, every feather in the lower half of the hackle with a narrow black shaft-stripe, running parallel to the edge, ends in a point near the tip; front of the neck salmon brown.

Tail: steering-feathers black with the exception of the upper ones, which are, like the coverts, light-gray with fine dark-gray peppering.

Back, saddle-cushion and wings: silver-grey with dark grey peppering, the peppering forms narrow lines running parallel to the feather edge; there are as few light-coloured veins as possible.

Primary-flights: black-gray with a narrow grey-white outer-vane.

Secondary-flights: outer-vane similar to the back; inner-vane grey-white.

Breast: salmon, veins of the same colour; salmon transitioning to light grey at the thighs.

Belly, abdomen, and thighs: ash-grey.

Down colour of all feather groups: greyish.

Serious faults

red or rust on wings; brown sheen on back, saddle pad and wing coverts; light veins. Yellowish tint in the neck collar.
