Color and pattern male

Head: warm golden-yellow.

Neck: hackle bright warm golden-yellow; front of the neck similar to the breast.

Back, shoulders and saddle-hackle: warm golden-yellow.

Tail: steering-feathers white; sickles and coverts white with a narrow, sharply defined warm golden-yellow lacing.

Wings: bright warm golden-yellow; wing-bar feathers with a more or less faint white penciled inner-vane.

Primary-flights: outer-vane warm golden-yellow with some white pencilling to the end, inner-vane warm golden-yellow strongly mixed with white.

Secondary-flights: outer-vane warm golden-yellow, inner-vane warm golden-yellow strongly mixed with white.

Breast, flanks, thighs and belly: warm golden-yellow, flanks show some white pencilling.

Rear-part: grey with golden-yellow tinge.

Down: cream to flour-white.

Serious faults

Very uneven or too light ground-color. Too dark or too light in shoulders and hackles. Many blackish splashes in the white feather parts. Absence, too broad or very irregular lacing of the sickles or tail-coverts.

Faults

Serious faults to a lesser degree. Color of the penciling other than white.

Color and pattern female

Head and neck-hackle: warm golden-yellow.

Front of the neck and upper-breast: warm golden-yellow without white pencilling.

Back, shoulders, wing-coverts and lower-breast: warm-golden yellow, each feather pencilled with white quills, shaped like grains of wheat, three to five times crosswise on either side of the shaft entirely distinct, touching neither the shaft nor the edge of the feather.

Shoulders and back: warm golden-yellow, each feather with greenish-white transverse penciling.

Tail: steering-feathers golden-yellow with strong white quill pencilling, most prominent in the top two.

Primary-flights: outer-vane warm golden-yellow mixed with some white penciling; inner-vane golden-yellow strongly mixed with white, fading towards the edge.

Secondary-flights: outer-vane golden-yellow with coarse white quill pencilling; inner-vane golden-yellow with coarse irregular white quill pencilling that turns into more or less longitudinal stripes.

Lower chest, belly and thighs: warm golden-yellow with some transverse penciling that become stronger towards the lower back.

Lower breast, flanks, thighs belly and rear-part: warm golden-yellow with some white quill penciling that become stronger towards the bottom.

Down: cream to flour white.

Serious faults

Uneven, far too light or far too dark ground-color. Coarse or very irregular quill penciling. Insufficient depth and sharpness of the quill penciling. Quil penciling rising too high on the breast.

Faults

Serious faults to a lesser degree. Ground-color in the quill penciling. Color of the penciling other than white. Clearly visible quill pencilling on the neck-hackle.
