Too much red in the hackles. Absence of pattern in hackles, back, shoulders and wing-bows, both on the front and back of the feather, the outer lacing of which must be white. Shaft-color too light. Absence of brown in wing-flights.

Some brown on breast, flanks, thighs and belly. Too much white in hackles. Too little pattern in hackles, back, shoulders and wing-coverts. Slightly too light shaft-color.

Head: white.
Neck: each hackle-feather with white lacing, wide enough to make the hackle white and a dark golden-brown center with a wide middle-stripe, some brown in the upper part of the hackle allowed; front of the neck similar to the breast.
Back, shoulders, wing-coverts, saddle, breast, flanks, thighs and belly: each feather dark-golden-brown sharpley white double-laced, parallel to each other and the outline, the outer-lace is broader then the inner-lace; the larger feathers of the saddle and the lower breast also have a white stripe along the shaft, which is white at that location.
Primary-flights: inner-web white, outer-web dark golden-brown.
Secondary-flights: inner-web white, outer-web dark golden-brown preferably with a narrow white lace, some coarse white marking in the dark golden-brown allowed.
Tail: main-feathers white except for the upper ones on both sides, which are irregularly dark golden-brown patterned; coverts similar to the back with a white stripe along the shaft, which is white at that location.
Fluff: dark golden-brown
Down: grey
Note
An even dark golden-brown ground-color is highly valued. The presence of a complete multiple lace is not considered a fault in older females.
Serious faults
Too heavy, irregular or incomplete outer-lacing. Absence of the inner-lace. Dark reddish-brown or hard rusty-red. Too light dark golden-brown. Too much brown in the hackle. Strong peppering in dark golden-brown. Too light shaft-color.
