Gold blue-laced
Color and pattern male
Head: warm golden-brown; each feather with a bright-blue shaft-stripe, ends in a sharp point near the tip.
Neck: hackle warm golden-brown, each feather with a strong bright-blue shaft-stripe, running almost parallel to the edge, ends in a point near the tip; vein golden-brown; front of the neck similar to the breast.
Back and shoulders: golden-brown, some lacing is permitted.
Saddle-hackle: golden-brown, each feather with a bright-blue shaft-stripe and a elongated golden-brown centre.
Tail: steering-feathers, sickles and greater-coverts bright-blue; smaller-coverts similar to the saddle-hackle but with a wider golden-brown centre.
Wings: bow feathers golden-brown with bright-blue lacing; wing-arch golden-brown as a result of the broad golden-brown lacing on each feather; greater-coverts golden-brown with a narrow, sharply defined, bright-blue lacing, forming a wing-bar when the wing is closed.
Primary-flights: black with a narrow golden-brown lace on the outer-vane.
Secondary-flights: outer-vane base bright-blue, the other half golden-brown with a bright-blue lace, which widens at the tip; inner-vane bright-blue with a narrow golden-brown lace.
Breast, belly and thighs: each feather warm golden-brown with a narrow, sharply defined, bright-blue lace.
Rear-part: greyish brown.
Down: light blue-grey, becoming lighter towards the base.
Serious faults
Uneven ground-color or a tint deviating from warm golden-brown. Light veins. Much too wide lacing. Golden-brown narrow lace around the black lacing. Breaking through of the shaft-stripe on the tip of hackle feathers. . Poorly defined and interrupted lacing. Very irregular lacing. Much brown in the sickles. Complete blue feathers on flanks and thighs. White in wing-flights and tail steering-feathers. A much too dark or much too light shade of blue. Entirely or partially black feathers.
Faults
Serious faults to a lesser degree.
