Silver black-laced

Color and pattern male

Head: silvery-white; each feather with a black shaft-stripe, ends in a sharp point near the tip.

Neck: hackle silvery-white, each feather with a strong green-glossy black shaft-stripe, running almost parallel to the edge, ends in a point near the tip; vein silvery-white; front of the neck similar to the breast.

Back and shoulders: silvery-white, some lacing is permitted.

Saddle-hackle: silvery-white, each feather with a black shaft-stripe and a elongated silvery-white centre.

Tail: steering-feathers black; sickles and greater-coverts green-glossy black; smaller-coverts similar to the saddle-hackle but with a wider silvery-white centre.

Wings: bow feathers silvery-white with black lacing; wing-arch silvery-white as a result of the broad silvery-white lacing on each feather;  greater-coverts silvery-white with a narrow, sharply defined, green-glossy black lacing,  some lacing on the back and wing-arch permitted.

Primary-flights: black with a narrow silvery-white lace on the outer-vane.

Secondary-flights: outer-vane base black, the other half silvery-white with a black lace, which widens at the tip; inner-vane black with a narrow silvery-white lace.

Breast, belly and thighs: each feather silvery-white with a narrow, sharply defined, green-glossy black lace.

Rear-part: greyish.

Down: greyish.

Serious faults

Much too wide lacing. Silvery-white narrow lace around the black lacing. Breaking through of the shaft-stripe on the tip of hackle feathers. Poorly defined and interrupted lacing. Very irregular lacing. Much white in the sickles. Complete black feathers on flanks and thighs. White in wing-flights and tail steering-feathers. Much rust on shoulders.
