Color and pattern male

Head: silvery-white.

Neck-hackle: glossy, vibrant silvery-white; front of the neck similar to the breast..

Shoulders, back, and saddle-hackle: glossy silvery-white.

Tail: steering-feathers black; sickles and coverts glossy-greenish black with a narrow, sharply defined silvery-white lacing.

Wings: coverts vibrant silvery-white; wing-bar feathers with a more or less faint black pencilled inner-vane.

Primary-flights: outer-vane silvery-white with some black pencilling to the end, inner-vane white strongly mixed with black.

Secondary-flights: outer-vane silvery-white, inner-vane silvery-white strongly mixed with black.

Breast, flanks, thighs and belly: warm silvery white; flanks show some black pencilling.

Rear-part: blackish grey.

Down: blue-grey.

Serious faults

Yellow tint in neck- and saddle-hackle. Rust on shoulders. Black spots on wing-coverts, breast and belly. Absence, too wide or very irregular lacing of sickles or tail-coverts.

Serious faults to a lesser degree.

Color and pattern female

Head and neck-hackle: silvery-white.

Front of the neck and upper-breast: silvery-white without black penciling.

Back, shoulders, wing-coverts and lower-breast: silvery-white, each feather pencilled with green-glossy black quills, shaped like grains of wheat, three to five times crosswise on either side of the shaft entirely distinct, touching neither the shaft nor the edge of the feather.

Tail: steering-feathers silvery- white with strong black quill pencilling, most prominent in the top two.

Primary-flights: outer-vane silvery-white mixed with some black pencilling; inner-vane golden-yellow strongly mixed with black, fading towards the edge.

Secondary-flights: silvery-white with coarse black quill pencilling, inner-vane silvery-white with coarse irregular quill pencilling that turns into more or less longitudinal stripes.

Lower breast, flanks, thighs belly and rear-part: silvery-white with some black quill penciling that become stronger towards the bottom.

Down: blue-grey.

Serious faults

Yellow tint in the ground-color. Coarse or very irregular quill penciling. Insufficient depth and sharpness of the quill penciling. Quil penciling rising too high on the breast. Quill penciling on the neck-hackle.
