Color and pattern male

Head, neck-and saddle-hackle: ivory yellow; on either side of the neck, slightly above the middle, there is a reddish-brown patch.

Beard: bright-blue.

Back, shoulder and wing-arch: reddish-brown, mixed in with glossy yellowish-white; older roosters have more yellowish-white.

Tail: steering-feathers and sickles bright blue; upper-coverts partially reddish-brown.

Wing-bar: bright blue.

Primary-flights: bright blue with a narrow white lace on the outer-vane.

Secondary-flights: inner-vane bright-blue, outer-vane white forming a white wing-triangle when the wing is closed.

Breast, belly, thighs, legs and outer-toe: bright-blue.

Down: white to light blue-gray.

White in beard and breast. Absence of the neck-patch. Excessive yellow-white marking on the wing-arch.

Serious faults occur to a lesser extent. White in the sickles. Too dark and/or uneven shade of blue. Black feather parts.

Head and neck-hackle: reddish-brown without blue marking; each hackle-feather a yellow-white lacing and a light vein.

Beard: cream-white.

Tail: steering-feathers salmon-red.

Back, shoulder, wing-coverts and saddle: uniform salmon-red, each feather has a yellow-white lacing and a light vein.

Wing-flights: outer-vane salmon-colored, inner-vane grey-blue.

Breast and thighs: yellowish-white with some reddish tinge.

Belly, rear-part, legs and outer-toe : slightly lighter than the breast.

Down: blue-gray.

Uneven salmon color or too red color. Almost complete absence of lacing. Neck-hackle marking.

Serious faults occur to a lesser degree. Too dark and/or uneven shade of blue. Black feather parts.
