Plumage: warm golden-yellow ground-color, each feather with a narrow white lacing, evenly spaced, running complete around the feather and visible at the front and back of the feather.

Down: blue-gray.

Too dark, too light or irregular ground-color. Light veins. Wide or insufficient white lacing. Double lacing. Horseshoe-shaped lacing. Insufficient lacing of the feathers on the breast and front of the neck. Unlaced throat. White peppering on the tail.
