Color and pattern male

Head: orange.

Neck- and saddle-hackle: orange-gold or lemon-yellow, each feather with a broad glossy green-black shaft-stripe, running parallel to the edge, ends in a point near the tip.

Front of the neck: black, each feather with a narrow orange-golden or lemon-yellow lacing.

Back, shoulders and wing-bows: orange-gold or lemon-yellow.

Tail, wing-bar and flights: glossy green-black.

Breast: black, each feather with a narrow orange-gold or lemon-yellow lacing to top of thighs.

Thighs, belly and fluff: black.

Down: grey-black.

Head: orange.

Serious faults male and female

Coloration that is much too light, much too dark, or complete uneven. Insufficient shaft-stripes in the hackles. Complete insufficient or too far downward lacing of the breast feathers.
