Neck-hackle: silvery white, each feather with a broad green-glossy, black shaft-stripe, running parallel to the feather edge, ends in a point near the tip.

Front of the neck: black each feather with a narrow, silvery-white lacing.

Back and shoulders: silvery white

Saddle: hackle entirely like the neck-hackle.

Tail and wings: entirely green-glossy black.

Breast: black, each feather with a narrow, silvery-white lacing; the lacing may not extend further down than to the upper part of the thighs.

Belly, thighs and fluff: black.

Down: grey-black.

Head: silvery-white.

Serious faults in male and female

Yellow tint in the silvery-white feather parts. Insufficient shaft-stripe pattern in the male's neck- and saddle-hackle and in the female's neck-hackle.  Completely insufficient or too far downward lacing of the breast feathers.

Minor deviations in color and pattern. Little sheen in the black.
