White double-laced
Color and pattern male
Head: white.
Neck: hackle white with some reddish tinge. Each feather has a broad white shaft-stripe with a reddish-brown center, formed by a narrow reddish-brown stripe on either side of the brown vein, outer edge is reddish-brown; feathers in the lower part of the hackle have a whitish lacing, which widens downwards into a white feather-end; front of the neck white.
Back: reddish-brown, each feather with a broad white lacing.
Saddle: hackle similiar to the neck-hackle.
Tail: steering-feathers, sickles and coverts white; at the base of the by-sickles some lacing is permitted provided it is not visible from outside the cage.
Wings: bow white; coverts similar to the neck-hackle, the white lacing is broader and more lacing is permitted; wing-bar white formed by the greater-coverts, lacing is permitted.
Primary-flights: white, with the exception of a narrow reddish-brown lace at the outer-vane.
Secondary-flights: inner-vane white, outer-vane reddish-brown preferably with a narrow white lacing along the outer edge, forming a reddish-brown wing-triangle with a narrow white lace when the wing is closed; a few black splashes are permitted.
Breast: white, some lacing pattern and a few black splashes are permitted.
Thighs and flanks: white
Down: grey.
Serious faults
Too much red in neck- and saddle-hackle. Lack of pattern in neck- and saddle-hackle, back and shoulders on both the front and back sides of the feather, the outer-lace of which must be white. Too light vein-color. Lack of brown in wing-flights.
Faults
Some brown on breast, belly and thighs. Too much white in neck- and saddle-hackle. Too little pattern in neck- and saddle-hackle, back and shoulders. Slightly too light vein-color.
Color and pattern female
Head: white.
Neck: hackle white, transitioning to dark golden brown towards the body with a broad white shaft-stripe, provided that the white outer edge is broad enough to make the hackle appear white; some brown in the upper part of the hackle is permitted; front of the neck similar to the breast.
Back, shoulder, saddle, breast, belly, thighs and flanks: feathers dark golden-brown with double white lacing, the outer-lace running along the edge is broader than the inner-lace running parallel to it; large feathers of the saddle and those of the lower breast also have a white stripe along the vein, which is also white at that location.
Tail: steering- feathers white except for the upper feather on both sides,, which are irregularly patterned with dark golden-brown, a few black splashes are permitted; coverts double-laced and moreover provided with a white stripe along the vein, the vein is white at that location.
Wings: coverts similar to the back.
Primary-flights: inner-vane white, outer-vane dark golden-brown; a few black splashes are permitted.
Secondary-flights: inner-vane white, outer-vane dark golden-brown preferably with a narrow white lace on the outside, some coarse white pattern in the dark golden-brown is permitted.
Down: grey
Note
When judging double-laced, attention must be paid to the color of the dark golden-brown, an even ground-color is highly valued.
The presence of a complete triple lace is not considered a fault in older females.
Serious faults
Too heavy, irregular or incomplete outer-lace. Lack of the inner-lace. Too light golden-brown, dark reddish-brown or hard rusty-red feather colour; too light feather color. Too much brown in the hakle. Strong peppering in the feather-color. Too light vein-color.
Faults
The above serious faults present to a lesser degree.
