Multiple laced blue lemon-partridge

Color and pattern male

Head: warm orange.

Neck: hackle light-orange to golden-yellow, each feather with a bright blue shaft-stripe, running almost parallel to the edge, ends in a point near the tip; vein bright-blue; front of the neck bright-blue.

Back and shoulders: warm orange.

Saddle-hackle: warm orangey golden-yellow, feathers similar to the neck-hackle, a slightly deeper shade is permitted, equality is desired.

Tail: steering-feathers, sickles, by-sickles and greater-coverts bright-blue, smaller-coverts bright-blue laced with golden yellow. 

Wings: bow bright-blue; wing-arch warm orange, greater-coverts bright-blue forming a wing-bar when the wing is closed. 

Primary-flights: bright-blue with a light-brown narrow lace along the outside of the outer-vane.

Secondary-flights: bright-blue with a cream to light yellowish-brown lace along the outer-vane, forming a cream to light-brown wing-triangle when the wing is closed, feather-end bright-blue.

Breast: bright-blue, some yellowish-brown lacing is permitted.

Belly, thighs and rear-part: bright blue, some yellowish-brown lacing permitted in thighs.

Down: greyish.

Serious faults

White in tail and wing-flights. Considerably too red-brown or greyish-yellow ground-color. Too dark in neck- and saddle-hackle or too faint shaft-stripe pattern. Much too dark or much too pale shade of blue. Complete or partly black feathers. Very uneven ground colour.

Serious faults to a lesser degree. Too light and incomplete colored wing-triangle.

Head: yellow.

Neckhackle yellow, each feather with a broad bright-blue shaft-stripe, running almost parallel to the edge, ends in a point near the tip; vein bright-blue; front of the neck similar to the breast.

Back, shoulders, saddle-cushion and wing-coverts: each feather greyish-yellow sharpley bright-blue multiple laced, parallel to each other and to the  outline.

Tail: steering-feathers bright-blue, both upper feathers bright-blue with warm grayish-yellow marking; coverts similar to the back.

Primary-flights: bright-blue with a greyish-yellow lace on the outer-vane.

Secondary-flights: inner-vane bright-blue, outer-vane brown with bright-blue multiple lacing running approximately parallel to the feather-outline.

Breast: similar to the back; lacing extend to the throat.

Belly and  thighs: soft greyish yellow with bright-blue multiple lacing.

Rear-part: soft greyish-yellow.

Down: greyish.

Serious faults

Too weak or incorrect lacing on the back, shoulders, saddle-cushion, breast and wing-coverts. Rust color on wings. Peppered pattern instead of clear lacing. Much too dark or much too pale shade of blue. Complete or partly black feathers. Very uneven ground color.
