Multiple laced blue silver-partridge

Color and pattern male

Head: silvery-white.

Neck: hackle silvery-white, each feather with a blue shaft stripe, running almost parallel to the feather edge, ends in a point near the tip; vein blue-grey; front of the neck blue.

Shoulders and back: silvery-white.

Saddle-hackle: warm silvery-white, each feather similar to the neck-hackle.

Tail: steering-feathers, sickles, by-sickles and coverts blue; small-coverts blue, edged with silvery-white.

Wings: bow blue; wing-arch silvery-white;  greater-coverts blue forming a wing-bar when the wing is closed

Primary-flights: black with a white edge along the outside of the outer-vane.

Secondary-flights: black with a silver-white edge along the outer-vane, so that a white wing-triangle is formed; the feather ends in blue.

Breast: blue, some white permitted.

Belly, lower thighs and rear-part: blue, some white permitted in thighs.

Down: greyish.

Serious faults

Much white in breast. White in sickles and tail. Yellow tint in the ornamental feathers. Insufficient neck- and saddle-hackle pattern.

The above serious faults occurring to a lesser extent, incompletely white wing-triangle.

Color and pattern female

Head: grey-blue.

Neck: hackle light-grey, each feather with a broad blue shaft-stripe (slightly laced with light-grey), running almost parallel to the feather edge; the shaft-stripe ends in a point near the tip; vein blue; front of the neck similar to the breast.

Back, shoulders, saddle-cushion and wing-coverts: each feather light-grey sharpley blue multiple laced, parallel to each other and to the outline.

Tail: steering-feathers blue, both upper feathers blue with light-grey pattern; coverts similar to the back.

Primary-flights: blue-grey with a light-grey edge to the outer-vane.

Secondary-flights: inner-vane blue, outer-vane light-grey with blue lacing stripes running approximately parallel to the feather outline. 

Breast: similar to the back, lacing extend to the throat.

Belly and lower thighs: soft-grey with black multiple lacing.

Rear-part: soft-grey.

Downs: greyish.

Serious faults

Too weak or incorrect pattern on the breast, wing-coverts and back. Too rusty or too grey-brown ground colour. Too weak or incorrect laced. Peppered pattern instead of clear pattern.

Faults
