Color and pattern male

Head: creamy-white.

Neck: hackle creamy-white, each feather with a bright-blue shaft-stripe, running parallel to the feather edge, ends in a point near the tip; front of the neck bright-blue.

Back, shoulders and wing-arch: orange.

Saddle-hackle: creamy-white, each feather with a more or less distinct black shaft-stripe.

Tail: steering-feathers, sickles and coverts bright-blue.

Wings: bow and wing-bar bright-blue.

Primary-flights: bright-blue with a narrow white edge along the outer-vane.

Secondary-flights: inner-vane bright-blue, outer-vane creamy-white transitioning to brown towards the tip  forming a almost entirely creamy-white wing-bar with a visible brown edge on the upper-side when the wing is closed.

Breast: green-glossy bright-blue.

Belly, thighs and rear-part: bright-blue.

Down: greyish.

Serious faults

Yellow tint in hackles. Extensive white on the breast, thigs and belly. White in tail. Strongly deviating or uneven blue.

Head: creamy-white.

Neck: hackle silvery-white, each feather with a bright-blue shaft-stripe, running parallel to the feather edge, ends in a point near the tip; front of the neck similar to the breast.

Back, saddle, shoulders, bow and wing-coverts: each feather light-grey with fine evenly distributed bright-blue peppering, as few  light-colored veins as possible; a slightly darker warmer shade is permitted.

Primary-flights: bright blue-grey with a narrow greyish-white outer-vane.

Secondary-flights: outer-vane similar to the back; inner-vane greyish-white.

Tail: steering-feathers bright-blue except for the upper ones, which like the coverts are light-grey with fine dark-grey peppering.

Breast: salmon transitioning to light-grey at the thighs, veins salmon.

Belly, thighs and rear-part: ash-grey.

Down: greyish.

Serious faults

Red or rusty on wings. Brown sheen on back, saddle and wing- coverts. Yellowish tint in the neck-hackle. Strongly deviating or uneven blue.

Faults

Serious faults  to a lesser degree.
