Color and pattern male

Head: golden-brown.

Neck: hackle glossy vibrant golden-brown; front of the neck similar to the breast.

Back, shoulders, wing-arch, saddle-hackle and breast: glossy warm golden-brown.

Wing-bar: golden brown, inner vane faintly transverse pencilled.

Primary-flights: inner-vane black, outer-vane golden-brown.

Secondary-flights: inner-vane golden-brown black transverse pencilled, outer-vane golden-brown except the tip where the pencilling continues.

Tail: steering-feathers black; sickles and coverts green-glossy black with a narrow, sharply defined golden-brown lacing.

Flanks, thighs and belly: warm golden-brown, flanks show some black pencilling.

Rear-part: blackish-grey with brown tinge.

Down: blue-grey.

Serious faults

Severe uneven or too light golden-brown. Too dark hackles and shoulder. Too broad or very irregular edging of sickles or tail-coverts. Lack of  sickle edging. Bronze sheen in sickles.

Neck: hackle warm golden-yellow; front of the neck similar to the breast but marked transversely slightly less strongly.

Back, shoulders, wing-coverts and saddle: warm golden yellow, each feather with green-glossy black straight tranverse pencilling, slightly wider than as those of golden-yellow.

Primary- and secondary-flights: warm golden yellow, with green-glossy black straight tranverse pencilling, slightly wider than as those of golden-yellow.

Tail: steering-feathers and coverts warm golden yellow, each feather with green-glossy black straight tranverse pencilling, slightly wider than as those of golden-yellow.

Breast : warm-golden yellow, each feather with green-glossy black straight tranverse pencilling, approximately as wide as those of golden-yellow.

Flanks, thighs, belly and rear-part: warm golden-yellow with black transverse pencilling or peppering.

Down: blue-grey.

Serious faults

Giolden-yellow uneven. Much too light or much too dark golden-yellow. Coarse or very irregular pencilling. Insufficient colour depth and sharpness of the pencilling. Insufficient pencilling on the breast. Pencilling extending too high into the neck-hackle.

Faults

Serious faults present to a lesser degree. Golden-yellow in the pencilling.
